Fifteen days of celebration allow us to do a thousand things and Chinese citizens as well as those of the countries influenced by this culture and by this lunar calendar, live intensely these festivities. It is an opportunity to spend time with family, to meet friends, to cook and to go out. Traditions and superstitions are found everywhere and during these celebrations, it is impossible to pass by without realizing it.
Fish, for example, is placed in the hearths to attract abundance and if it is red, it also makes it possible to make flee the Nian. On the doors are placed the Guardians who have the role of protecting the inhabitants of the house against evil spirits. The walls and facades are covered in red, a symbol of good luck, and the kitchens of the whole country are perfumed with the delicious smells of the "Christmas tradition" ravioli. The houses are cleaned and all debts have to be settled in order to start the new year.
